Guess what! I got to spend Christmas in Wisconsin. Mom and I drove up there to visit with her old roommate, Sara. It was a four-hour drive and I whined for the first three hours! I was nervous. Mom had me tied up in the back seat. Actually, she first had me in one of those seatbelt harnesses, but as she expected, they don't work well on three-legged dogs. I wiggled my way out of that by the time she got to the O'Hare Oasis.
Once we were in Wisconsin I had so much fun. I got to meet Allie and Freckles. Allie was about my size and Freckles was smaller! They gave me a cool present, too. Oh, and Sara's parents gave me some presents, too (My Grammy also sent me a soccer ball and a chewy). Sara's dad thought I was the coolest dog ever (and I am). He was amazed at how quickly I ran up the stairs. Mom was nervous as I ran down them. We don't have a staircase like that at home. I also met their three dogs, Luther, and two others. They're all girls, but they all have boy names.
Mom also found out that I love cheese! And beef jerky. I don't get those things at home, but Sara's dad kept them coming. That being said, I didn't eat but about two of my meals of dogfood the whole three days. And when I came home, I didn't eat for a couple of , either. I was hoping that if I held out long enough, Mom would give me more cheese, but she didn't :(
When I came home, Happy and Ozzie were very happy to see me. I was pretty happy to see them, too. I was most excited to be back in my own yard where I could run off the leash. Mom was glad about that, too.
Here are a few pictures of Happy, Ozzie, and me from last week.
Happy was laughing at Mom when she took that picture!
Ozzie was being so sweet to Mom. . . too sweet.
And now, the star of the show--ME! Aren't I handsome? Mom says I look guilty in the first one. I didn't do it, I promise!

Wow Max, you are now officially a world traveler. Now you need to talk Mommy into bring you down to Georgia and you can be a Red Neck Dog like Veda!!!
